A handsome vintage solid pine bureau writing desk with a warm honey finish and attractive knotty grain throughout. The sloping fall front opens to provide a generous writing surface with an inset green tooled writing panel, supported by pull out lopers, while the fitted interior incorporates pigeonholes, open compartments and a small central drawer for stationery and correspondence. Below are three graduated drawers with turned wooden knobs, raised on rounded bun feet, combining useful storage with classic country house styling. The bureau retains its key and presents in good used condition with expected surface marks, scratches and general wear consistent with age and use.

Delivery: I advertise as local pick-up but appreciate that not all of you live close enough to collect, so if it helps, I can arrange for cheap local delivery (please ask for a quote).

You can of course use any number of alternatives such as Anyvan, Shiply, Parcel2go or parcelmonkey all of whom you can find on the internet and can provide a reasonable price but less personal service. Very simple to use and many of my customers advise that they provide a good service.

Please note that if you wanted me to wrap for collection there would be a small cost for materials (cardboard, bubble wrap, tape etc).
