A handsome Victorian upholstered armchair featuring a deep seat, shaped open arms, turned mahogany supports and original brass castors. Upholstered in a burgundy patterned fabric with decorative stud detailing, this comfortable lounge chair offers a classic country house and library look. The generous proportions and low seat make it ideal as a reading chair, fireside chair or occasional armchair, while the solid mahogany frame and traditional craftsmanship provide plenty of character. Presented in good vintage condition with age related wear to the woodwork and upholstery consistent with use.

Dimensions: height 87cm, height to arm 57cm, height to seat 36cm, seat depth 65cm, seat width 54cm, depth 93cm, width 74cm.

Offered in used condition with signs of age, wear and previous use, as might be expected and is mentioned and pictured purely for accuracy. Please see photos for the best description and any marks that should be noted.

Delivery: I advertise as local pick-up but appreciate that not all of you live close enough to collect, so if it helps, I can arrange for cheap local delivery (please ask for a quote).

Please get in touch and provide your location and postcode and I will make enquiries for you. Should you decide to proceed, the courier service is independent and arrangements & payment are required directly between you and the courier.

You can of course use any number of alternatives such as Anyvan, Shiply, Parcel2go or parcelmonkey all of whom you can find on the internet and can provide a reasonable price but less personal service. Very simple to use and many of my customers advise that they provide a good service.

Please note that if you wanted me to wrap for collection there would be a small cost for materials (cardboard, bubble wrap, tape etc).
