A smashing original vintage golden dawn Ercol rocking chair, from Ercols "original" range, this is a "Chairmakers model 7912" rocking chair and versions can still be bought today online at around £900. Great stick back frames and double hoop. Original frame poppers are still in place.

Sturdily constructed with a solid elm seat and solid beech rails, this rocking chair combines timeless functionality with iconic mid-century modern design. First produced by ercol in the 1950s, this chair is a true design classic and the perfect occasional chair for any room.

Offered in used vintage condition with minor signs of age, wear and previous use, as might be expected and is mentioned and pictured purely for accuracy. Please see photos for the best description and any marks that should be noted. Click images to enlarge.

Dimensions: height 103cm, height to seat 38cm (without cushion), seat depth 44cm, height to arms 69cm, depth 75cm, width 62cm.

Delivery: I advertise as local pick-up but appreciate that not all of you live close enough to collect, so if it helps, I can arrange for cheap local delivery (please ask for a quote).

Should your require transport further afield, I have contact with an independent courier and would be pleased to obtain a delivery quote for you. Please get in touch and provide your location and postcode and I will make enquiries for you. Should you decide to proceed, the courier service is independent and arrangements & payment are required directly between you and the courier.

You can of course use any number of alternatives such as Anyvan, Shiply, Parcel2go or parcelmonkey all of whom you can find on the internet and can provide a reasonable price but less personal service. Very simple to use and many of my customers advise that they provide a good service.

Please note that if you wanted me to wrap for collection there would be a small cost for materials (cardboard, bubble wrap, tape etc).
