A charming Victorian oak rocking armchair featuring a classic spindle back with finely turned supports and a gently shaped top rail, all raised on a traditional rocker base. The frame displays a rich, aged patina with nicely shaped arms and turned front supports, giving it a balanced and timeless form. The seat has been reupholstered in the iconic William Morris Strawberry Thief fabric, adding a vibrant Arts and Crafts influence that complements the antique oak beautifully. Solid, comfortable and full of character, this is a practical yet decorative piece ideal for a country interior or as a standout accent chair.

Offered in used vintage condition with some signs of age, wear and previous use, as might be expected and is mentioned and pictured purely for accuracy. Please see photos for the best description and any marks that should be noted. Click images to enlarge.

Delivery: I advertise as local pick-up but appreciate that not all of you live close enough to collect, so if it helps, I can arrange for cheap local delivery (please ask for a quote).

Please get in touch and provide your location and postcode and I will make enquiries for you. Should you decide to proceed, arrangements & payment are required directly between you and the courier.

You can of course use any number of alternatives such as Anyvan, Shiply, Parcel2go or parcelmonkey all of whom you can find on the internet and can provide a reasonable price but less personal service. Very simple to use and many of my customers advise that they provide a good service.

Please note that if you wanted me to wrap for collection there would be a small cost for materials (cardboard, bubble wrap, tape etc).
