An impressive Regency style giltwood overmantel mirror with a substantial architectural frame and richly detailed classical decoration. The broad projecting cornice sits above layered mouldings and an ornate frieze of scrolling acanthus and foliate motifs, while the fluted side pilasters feature shell capitals, decorative mounts and stepped bases. Finished in an aged warm gilt tone with darker detailing that gives the relief work excellent definition, this large statement mirror is ideal above a fireplace, console or mantelpiece. Presented in good decorative condition with visible age related surface wear, small marks and natural variation to the gilt finish that complement its character.

Dimensions: height 90cm, depth 16cm, width 140cm.

Delivery: I advertise as local pick-up but appreciate that not all of you live close enough to collect, so if it helps, I can arrange for cheap local delivery (please ask for a quote).

You can of course use any number of alternatives such as Anyvan, Shiply, Parcel2go or parcelmonkey all of whom you can find on the internet and can provide a reasonable price but less personal service. Very simple to use and many of my customers advise that they provide a good service.
