An attractive completed vintage Penelope Tapestries Evening Gold needlepoint tapestry depicting a tranquil waterside sunset, with dramatic overhanging tree branches, a distant wooded shoreline and golden reflections across the water. Neatly worked in rich gold, soft blue, moss green and mauve tones, the detailed stitched landscape is presented behind glass in a warm brown wooden frame. Its wide panoramic composition and nostalgic colours make it a lovely addition to a vintage, retro or cottage interior. Good overall vintage condition, with minor cosmetic marks to the frame and wear and tearing to the backing tape on the reverse; a hanging wire is fitted.

Dimensions: height 41cm, depth 3cm, width 78cm.

Offered in used vintage condition with signs of age, wear and previous use, as might be expected and is mentioned and pictured purely for accuracy. Please note see photos for the best description and any marks that should be noted, Click images to enlarge.
