French Louis XV Style Walnut Tub Armchair Blue Upholstery

PRICED AS COLLECTION ONLY FROM PE12
See Description for delivery options

An elegant French Louis XV style tub armchair with a shaped walnut frame, sweeping upholstered back and distinctive carved scroll terminals. The generous sprung seat is raised on four cabriole legs with carved detailing, while the serpentine apron features a central foliate motif and the wraparound back creates an attractive low salon chair profile. Upholstered in pale blue fabric with matching piping, the chair has an appealing decorative appearance, although the upholstery shows scattered spotting, marks and general wear, particularly across the rear, and would benefit from cleaning or reupholstery. The walnut frame displays attractive colour and grain with expected minor marks and wear from use.

Dimensions: height 53cm, height to seat 35cm, seat depth 56cm, depth 74cm, width 76cm.

Offered in good vintage upholstered condition with minor signs of age, wear and previous use, as might be expected and is mentioned and pictured purely for accuracy. Please see photos for the best description and any marks that should be noted. Click images to enlarge.

Delivery: I advertise as local pick-up but appreciate that not all of you live close enough to collect, so if it helps, I can arrange for cheap local delivery (please ask for a quote).

Should your require transport further afield, I have contact with a courier and would be pleased to obtain a delivery quote for you. Please get in touch and provide your location and postcode and I will make enquiries for you. Should you decide to proceed, arrangements & payment are required directly between you and the courier.

You can of course use any number of alternatives such as Anyvan, Shiply, Parcel2go or parcelmonkey all of whom you can find on the internet and can provide a reasonable price but less personal service. Very simple to use and many of my customers advise that they provide a good service.

Please note that if you wanted me to wrap for collection there would be a small cost for materials (cardboard, bubble wrap, tape etc).

We have an ever fluctuating stock base of good quality affordable furniture, so please see our other items for sale...Durstons Delights
