Five Vintage Lancashire Style Oak Rush Seat Dining Chairs

See Description for delivery options

A charming set of five vintage (possibly older) Lancashire style oak dining chairs comprising two carver armchairs and three matching side chairs, inspired by traditional English country furniture. Each chair features an attractive spindle back with finely turned vertical spindles, a shaped top rail with decorative carved fan detailing and a natural woven rush seat. The dark oak frames have beautifully turned front stretchers, rounded feet and a warm, characterful finish, while the two carver chairs feature shaped wooden arms supported by turned uprights. Their distinctive design reflects the traditional Lancashire rush-seated chair style, making them particularly appealing for farmhouse kitchens, country cottage interiors and rustic dining rooms. All five chairs are in good vintage condition with age related marks, light scratches and areas of surface wear consistent with use, particularly around the arms and edges. The woven rush seats appear in good overall condition with some natural variation and minor signs of wear, as photographed.

Price includes all five chairs.
