A classic Ercol Windsor rocking chair in solid elm and beech, featuring the iconic hoop back with turned spindle supports and sculpted armrests. Raised on traditional rocking runners, the chair has a well-shaped seat offering comfort and a timeless mid century British design. The frame carries the Ercol England badge and shows a warm, aged patina with light surface wear consistent with use, including some rubbing to the arms. It is currently fitted with loose floral patchwork cushions which can be used or replaced to suit taste, and overall the chair remains solid, functional, and ready for everyday use.

Sturdily constructed with a solid elm base and solid beech rails, this rocking chair combines timeless functionality with iconic mid-century modern design. First produced by ercol in the 1950s, this chair is a true design classic and the perfect occasional chair for any room.

Offered in used vintage condition with signs of age, wear and previous use, as might be expected and is mentioned and pictured purely for accuracy. Please see photos for the best description and any marks that should be noted. Click images to enlarge.

Delivery: I advertise as local pick-up but appreciate that not all of you live close enough to collect, so if it helps, I can arrange for cheap local delivery (please ask for a quote).

Please get in touch and provide your location and postcode and I will make enquiries for you. Should you decide to proceed, the courier service is independent and arrangements & payment are required directly between you and the courier.

You can of course use any number of alternatives such as Anyvan, Shiply, Parcel2go or parcelmonkey all of whom you can find on the internet and can provide a reasonable price but less personal service. Very simple to use and many of my customers advise that they provide a good service.

Please note that if you wanted me to wrap for collection there would be a small cost for materials (cardboard, bubble wrap, tape etc).
