An attractive antique tub armchair, probably late Victorian or Edwardian, with a dark polished wooden frame, curved smoker’s bow style back and pierced carved back supports. Cream floral woven upholstery covers the padded back rail and generous seat, finished with decorative braid edging. Shaped arm supports and cabriole front legs give the chair an elegant profile, with castors fitted to all four feet. The frame shows surface scratches, scuffs and finish wear consistent with age and use.

Dimensions: height 72cm, height to arm 60cm, height to seat 37cm, seat depth 60cm, seat width 56cm, depth 64cm, width 62cm.
