The rectangular top features an attractive geometric veneer pattern framed by a fine inlaid border, while the front is fitted with ten drawers arranged in two columns, each with classic metal drop handles. Every drawer is internally compartmentalised, making this an excellent storage piece for organising smaller items such as craft supplies, sewing materials, collectors’ items, tools, or hobby accessories. The chest stands on elegant cabriole style legs which give it a traditional look while the clean lines keep it practical for modern interiors. The body appears to be a fibreboard\/MDF construction with veneer finish typical of late 20th century furniture, providing durability while maintaining the look of traditional wood furniture. There is a small historic repair to the back leg which has caused slight swelling at the bottom back left corner, though this does not affect use.
