The tapered form, bracket plinth, inset drawers and traditional brass swan neck handles create the look of a traditional collector's cabinet while offering practical storage for a bedroom, hallway, office or craft room. The drawers have solid timber interiors and run smoothly, and the piece has an attractive rustic finish that works well in both country and contemporary interiors. There are natural shrinkage gaps visible in the solid timber side panels on both sides, caused by seasonal timber movement, along with light wear and rubbing to the painted finish consistent with age and use.
